About the Role

We are seeking a Play Area Attendant to join our team at Stellenbosch, where you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children of all ages. As a key member of our staff, you will be the first point of contact for families, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor children constantly to prevent accidents and injuries, ensuring a secure environment.
• Maintain high hygiene standards by cleaning and sanitizing toys, equipment, and the play area.
• Organize and lead games, crafts, and interactive activities for various age groups.
• Greet families warmly, manage registration/check-in, and communicate rules effectively.
• Provide first aid or handle emergencies in accordance with safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and parents. CPR/First Aid certification. Energetic, patient, and engaging personality. Ability to stand, walk, and engage in active play for extended periods.
