About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our apprenticeship program as a Miller Apprentice, where you will gain hands-on experience in Wheat and Maize Milling Technology courses. As an apprentice, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling mechanical and operational efficiency in production facilities, equipment, and planning related resources for bulk handling and storage of cereals, milling of cereals, and extracting starch.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control mechanical and operational efficiency in production facilities and equipment
- Plan and manage the buld handling and storage of cereals
- Mill cereals and extract starch
- Participate in correspondence with Wheat and Maize Milling Technology courses
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Equivalent to NQF 4)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Basic understanding of the Agricultural Industry
- Keen interest in the Field of Study
Qualifications
SAGMA Registered will be advantageous.
