About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer/Draughtsman to join our team in Paarl. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting machinery used in the FMCG or lifting equipment sector, with a strong focus on manufacturing process expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and draughting of machinery used in the FMCG or lifting equipment sector
- Production of accurate and high-quality designs
- Detailing and creating Bill of Materials (BOMs)
- Facilitating the manufacturing process
- Collaboration with team members to achieve project goals
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years experience in design and draughting of machinery used in the FMCG or lifting equipment sector
- Solid experience in manufacturing processes
- Ability to produce accurate and high-quality designs
- Strong calculation skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
