Legal Assistant Commercial Law (Hybrid | Stellenbosch)

Key Requirements:

Legal qualification essential (BCom Law preferred).

Experience in commercial law required; litigation experience acceptable but not ideal.

Exposure to a small-scale law firm advantageous.

Must be comfortable handling contracts and legal documents independently.

Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:

Drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of commercial contracts and legal documents.

Conducting basic legal research and interpreting relevant laws and regulations.

Supporting internal teams with legal and compliance queries.

Ensuring documents are accurate, consistent, and aligned with company processes.

Assisting in refining and improving internal contract and legal workflows.
