About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead our new luxury destination restaurant in Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands. As part of a highly regarded niche wine estate, you will be working alongside a Michelin-starred chef to deliver world-class culinary experiences and become one of South Africa’s most sought-after dining destinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the F&B Operations Manager in running daily restaurant operations
- Lead service on the floor during high-volume and peak seasonal periods
- Deliver refined, personalised, and memorable guest experiences
- Supervise, coach, and develop front-of-house teams
- Ensure seamless service flow between kitchen and service teams
- Assist with stock control, labour management, and operational efficiency
- Uphold luxury service standards aligned to the estate’s brand and guest experience
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in a luxury; fast-paced hospitality environment
- Calm, organised, and able to thrive during busy service periods
- Strong people leader who builds high-performing teams
- Commercially aware with strong operational discipline
- Passionate about fine dining, wine, and destination hospitality
