About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our award-winning estate restaurant in Stellenbosch, as part of an elite team of chefs who create exquisite tasting menus under the guidance of a renowned SA Top Chef.
Key Responsibilities
- Create beautifully plated dishes that showcase culinary expertise and creativity
- Work collaboratively with other chefs to develop and execute menus
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- Adapt to changing menu requirements and work efficiently in both hot and cold kitchen environments
- Develop innovative garnish ideas for multiple components
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and guests
Requirements
- Recognized professional/classical/formal culinary qualification
- Minimum 4 years industry work experience within Fine Dining / Top 10 Eat Out level establishments
- Culinary strengths in Hot & Cold Kitchen
- Experience in plating of multiple components
- Adaptable to working off different menus on a weekly basis
