Waiter

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking professional and enthusiastic Waiters to join a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and present menus and wine lists

• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods

• Set tables with linens, silverware and glasses to the highest standard

• Take accurate food and beverage orders

• Ensure timely delivery of orders from kitchen and bar staff

• Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness throughout service

• Offer desserts, coffee and additional services where appropriate

• Prepare and present bills accurately

• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance and uniform presentation

Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification

• Preferably 1 years previous experience as a waiter/waitress

• Experience with cash registers and ordering systems an advantage

• Basic mathematics skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong customer service orientation and attentive listening skills

• Comfortable engaging with distinguished clientele

• Well-presented, flexible, accountable and enthusiastic

• Own or reliable transport
