Job Description

Developing and testing prototypes of electrical components and systems.

Supervising the installation of electrical systems and equipment.

Planning and managing electrical projects, including budgeting and scheduling.

Conducting failure analysis to identify the root causes of electrical problems.

Designing electrical systems, circuits, and equipment for various applications.

Testing electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults in machinery or systems.

Qualification & Skills

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering

Minimum 10 years relevant work experience

Must come from a manufacturing or construction background

Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act

Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices

Experience using PLCs will be advantageous
