About the Role

We are seeking experienced Guides to strengthen our guiding department at a prestigious Luxury Safari Lodge in Limpopo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering world-class game drives and walking safaris while upholding our commitment to ethical guiding, conservation-focused practices, and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement guided safari itineraries that showcase the best of Limpopo’s wildlife and landscapes
Lead and mentor junior guides to ensure excellent guest interactions and safety standards
Collaborate with the hospitality team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and exceed customer expectations
Maintain knowledge of planning, budgeting, firearms control, and administration to ensure smooth operations
Participate in conservation-focused practices and contribute to the lodge’s commitment to protecting the environment

Requirements

FGASA Level 2 Guide qualification with Full Trails (Nature Site Guide NQF4) for Field Guides
Valid ARH, Trails qualification, Rifle Proficiency, First Aid Level 1, Drivers Licence & PDP for Head Guides
Proven experience guiding at a luxury safari lodge
Strong ecological knowledge, tracking, spoor identification, and Big Five experience
Excellent guest interaction, hosting, and communication skills

Qualifications

Minimum FGASA Level 2 Guide qualification with Full Trails (essential)
