About the Role

Join Wild Dreams Hospitality as a Pastry Chef in our Timbavati location, where you’ll be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences while prioritizing sustainability. As the lead pastry expert, you’ll oversee daily preparation of breads, cakes, and desserts, ensuring consistency, creativity, and adherence to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, bread, cakes, and desserts daily.
  • Create visually appealing products using advanced decorating techniques.
  • Experiment with new recipes and introduce innovative flavors.
  • Manage pastry section operations and workflow.
  • Control stock, minimize waste, and optimize food costs.
  • Ensure strict food safety, hygiene, and proper ingredient storage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section.
  • Guarantee consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff for smooth service.
  • Train and mentor junior pastry staff.

Requirements
