About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spa Reservationist & Back-up SPA Therapist to join our team in Tokai, Cape Town. As a dual role, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations and providing exceptional guest experiences while also performing spa therapies. Key Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including making bookings, responding to emails, and performing general admin tasks
- Provide exceptional guest experiences through clear communication and command of English
- Perform spa therapies as required, utilizing your knowledge of beauty treatments and products
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and scheduling adjustments
- Multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment while remaining calm and courteous under pressure
- Collaborate with therapists and management to ensure seamless operations
- Upsell spa services and retail add-ons to enhance guest experiences
Requirements
- South African citizen or permitted for employment
- Certified / Diploma in Beauty Specialist / Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology from SAAHSP, ITEC, CIDESCO, or CIBTAC-accredited institution
- Reliable transport within the Southern Suburbs
- Computer confident with proficiency in MS Office and SPA software systems (ESP, Headstart, SilverSpa or similar)
- Excellent guest communication and command of English
Qualifications
- Formal education/certification in Beauty Specialist / Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology is required
Salary & Benefits
- R11,000 Basic Salary per month
- Services Commission (on any therapies performed by you)
- Retail Commission
- Employee Benefits and Fund Contributions
