Hire Resolves client in the civil engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Lead Civil Engineer in Umhlanga.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Engineers and Technicians on design construction and civil engineering projects to ensure efficient project execution.
• Verify work for accuracy, proper methods, techniques, and compliance with applicable standards and specifications aligned with BMK QMS.
• Develop frameworks and processes to manage business risks in daily operations.
• Drive innovation and efficiency improvements to optimize processes.
• Manage all project stages from inception layouts to close-out engineering designs.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Provide technical advice on project feasibility, cost, and timelines.
• Set project milestones, communicate status updates, and address any setbacks.
• Submit reports on project performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

• BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering.
• At least 12 years experience in a similar role within a Consulting Engineering firm.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes.
• PrEng/PrTechEng certification is advantageous.
• Experience with Civil 3D and Project Management is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
