Welkom: Compliance Manager

About the Role

The Compliance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the company’s adherence to regulatory requirements, maintaining systems for SHE, ISO, and firearms, and facilitating training on relevant processes and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and maintain systems on SHE, ISO, and firearms
• Compile and maintain documentation (files etc.) on above processes for Regional/Divisional offices and sites
• Maintain DMS for H &S and Firearms
• Ensure required meetings take place either monthly or quarterly in the Region/Division
• Conduct audits in Regional offices and on sites
• Facilitate and train on all relevant processes and legal requirements
• Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code
• Maintain and comply with ISO 9001 quality management system
• Ensure compliance of client equipment requirements
• Maintain and comply with Mine Health and Safety Act and ISO 9001 quality management system

Requirements

• PSIRA certification Grade A
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Relevant experience in a similar position
• SAMTRAC or Equivalent Qualification
• SHEQ management
• ISO 9001 / 2015 quality knowledge and experience as well as the Mine Health and Safety Act
• Firearm competency
• Business Purposes, Knowledge of the Firearms Control Act and experience
• A working knowledge of MS Office
• Internal Audit or Lead Auditors Training
