Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
– Acting as the outsourced Financial Accountant for Foundation clients within the digital assets sector.
– Managing daily financial activities and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records.
– Preparing and posting journals (strong working knowledge of QuickBooks is essential).
– Compiling monthly management accounts, including detailed income statement and balance sheet reviews.
– Driving budgeting processes, financial reporting, and performing variance analysis.
– Liaising with Cayman-based teams regarding reporting packs, commentary, and financial deliverables.
– Overseeing payment processes, account reconciliations, and proactive cash flow management.
– Ensuring compliance with internal controls, KYC processes, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
– Engaging directly with clients and external service providers to address financial queries and reporting requirements.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
– Strong technical understanding of accounting principles (formal qualification preferred).
– 2–3+ years post-qualification experience within a finance or accounting environment.
– Demonstrated experience preparing management accounts and overseeing the full finance function.
– Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting systems.
– Ability to work independently with limited guidance — proactive and solutions-driven.
– Professional maturity and reliability, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
– Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior and international stakeholders.
