Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Production Manager, you will:
- Support the Head of Production in planning and managing daily schedules to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor production processes and work closely with the team to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Uphold Image Makers` high-quality standards, ensuring all products meet specifications and safety regulations.
- Supervise, train, and motivate production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Troubleshoot production issues quickly and effectively, implementing innovative solutions.
- Assist in compiling production reports and analyzing performance metrics to enhance future outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- 3+ years of proven experience in clothing manufacturing, preferably in a factory manager role.
- Expertise in softwear such as shirts, blouses, suits, dresses, skirts, and pants.
- Knowledge of jackets and coats is a plus.
- A strong understanding of garment production processes and quality control practices.
- Proficiency in production management software or excellent computer skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Afrikaans or Xhosa is advantageous.
- Certifications in production management will be considered an advantage.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
