About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Banking Manager to lead and manage process transformation and advisory projects for banking clients, with a focus on credit risk modelling, capital adequacy, regulatory compliance, and IFRS 9 expertise. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, business acumen, and the ability to drive transformation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage process transformation and advisory projects for banking clients
- Provide subject matter expertise on IFRS 9, including modelling, governance, and validation
- Review and challenge model methodologies, assumptions, and documentation to align with regulatory expectations
- Oversee additional transformation projects (insurance actuarial, data, finance) with support from internal experts
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and audit/risk committees
- Mentor and coach junior team members, contributing to overall team development
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in actuarial, risk, or quantitative roles in consulting, banking, or regulatory environments
- Strong background in IFRS 9 modelling
- Advantageous: Basel frameworks, capital modelling, and insurance-related data or risk experience
- Experience designing and implementing technical models
- Strong business acumen with the ability to link technical insights to commercial outcomes
