About the Role
Time Personnel is seeking a highly experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and managing all financial processes monthly
- Updating the daily cash book
- Ensuring correct allocations in general ledger accounts
- Managing detailed reconciliations
- Managing expense accounts
- Managing budget requirements
- Ensuring travel budgets are in line with correct costings
- Assisting with creditor and debtor control tasks
- Banking and managing petty cash
- Managing inter-company transfers
- Processing of journals
- Phoning and following up on accounts
- Managing queries
- General office administration duties
Requirements
- Matric, relevant qualification highly advantageous
- 8 – 10 years’ experience
- Excellent English verbal & written communication skills, good customer skills/team player
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel and Word and working on an accounting system
- Attention to detail/analytical and ability to adapt with good time management skills
- An individual who understands the importance of meeting the business’ needs
