• Assess staff competence according to company standards
• Plan, prepare, implement and manage the education and training requirements
• Support and facilitate staff and students to reach specific learning objectives
• Incorporate standard technology aid/ tools to enhance the learning experience and to up skill learners in the use of medical equipment
• Assist with the review of all Nursing documentation as and when requested
• Implement and maintain the standard patient documentation
• Seek to create opportunities for identifying and leveraging high potential learners by setting challenging learning channels
• Take corrective measures to improve skills

• Grade 12
• Professional Nursing Qualification (Registered with SANC)
• Knowledge of scope of practice of all Nursing categories as well as the regulations of the SANC
• Nursing Education and/ or Assessorship qualification as recommendation
• Previous experience as an educator/ facilitator/ mentor would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to initiate and implement continuous improvement projects
• An established interest in staff development
• A critical aptitude with regard to patient quality care
• Excellent MS Office computer skills, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Kronos, etc.
• Own transport- Ocassional night duty
