About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team in Montague Gardens, Western Cape. As an integral member of our production team, you will be responsible for programming and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to continuous process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all CNC machines are programmed as per the designs and that all machines are in accordance with the cutting list.
- Implement and adhere to manufacturing standards and standard operating procedures and production processes (including activity lists, workstation boards).
- Ensure quality standards, control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
- Ensure continuous maintenance of programmes and machines by continuously checking machinery for any damages or faults and routine calibration.
- Maintain stock control of all tools and equipment.
- Management of staff including continuous coaching, training and mentoring.
- Routine maintenance and calibration of the 3-Axis machine.
- Continuously liaise with stakeholders concerning quality and delivery issues.
- Ensure housekeeping activities at the workstations comply and remain at high standards at all times and identify potential health risks.
- Ensure continuous process optimization and improvement is implemented within the department
Requirements
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Production Management/Engineering or related field
- Experience: At least 3 years experience on supervisory level.
- Minimum: 3 years experience in CNC programming.
- Working knowledge of ALPHACAM and MASTERCAM.
- Working knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel).
- Solidworks (2013 upwards), AutoCAD / Draftsight (2010 upwards) knowledge would be advantages.

- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Production Management/Engineering or related field
