About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized Debtors Assistant to join our team at West Coast Personnel in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in collections and follow-up skills, with a strong focus on maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on outstanding debts and ensure timely payment
- Maintain accurate debtor records using Excel and accounting software (Sage or Pastel)
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
- Meet and exceed targets for debtor days under control
Requirements
- 2–4 years’ solid Debtors / Accounts experience
- Strong collections & follow-up skills
- Good Excel skills
- Experience with Sage, Pastel, or similar accounting software
- Matric (Accounting advantageous)
Qualifications
Matric (Accounting advantageous) is a requirement for this role. If you have any formal education or certifications in accounting, please highlight them.
