Job Description:
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and internal controls
Prepare accurate monthly management and operational financial reports
Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management
Ensure adequate store compensation and cost recovery mechanisms
Manage and develop the finance and operational support team
Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
Oversee and manage outsourced facilities and service providers
Align financial and operational projects with overall business objectives
Support stock management, logistics efficiency and risk mitigation initiatives
 
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a logistics, warehousing or FMCG distribution environment
Strong understanding of product flow, SOPs and operational processes
Solid auditing and accounting knowledge
 
Qualification:
Finance-related degree or
CA(SA)

Perform preliminary analysis of the variances between budgets, actuals, forecasts, statistics and KPIs
Analyze budget vs. actual performance, highlighting opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization

Skills & Experience:
5+ Years Post Qualification Experience in Senior Accounting or Financial Management
Experience in the hospitality industry – HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead, guide and support members of the team
Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage time and meet tight deadlines
A team player with the ability to work independently
Works well under pressure and naturally goes the extra mile
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Results and standards orientated
 
Qualification:
BCom Accounting or equivalent degree.
Completion of SAICA articles – ADVANTAGEOUS
