Job Description
Lead Financial Operations: Manage monthly general ledger close processes and supervise operational reporting functions
Strategic Planning: Design, implement, and monitor financial policies in alignment with divisional and group strategies
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team including Financial Accountants, Management Accountants, Finance admin clerks
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to IFRS and relevant legislation while preparing timely monthly and annual accounts
Budget Management: Consolidate annual budgets and forecasts, review departmental plans against business objectives
Financial Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis, variance reports, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making
Continuous Improvement: Identify cost-reduction opportunities and drive efficiency improvements across the finance function
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal/external auditors and support the CFO on key strategic projects
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years managing a team
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial management processes
Strategic Thinker
Excellent communication with the ability to influence
Expert in financial software and reporting applications
Qualification:
Degree + minimum 8 years experience
CA(SA) preferred
