To deliver high-quality instruction and academic support in the fields of Science and Mathematics to foundation-level students preparing for undergraduate studies. The position holder will also contribute to curriculum development, scholarly activities, research initiatives, and academic advising within the Foundation Studies Program.

Qualifications Required:

Masters Degree in a relevant field (Science, Mathematics, Education)
-
PhD (Doctorate Degree) in Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
-
Recognized academic and/or teaching certifications are advantageous
-
A record of scholarly research and publication (required for Associate Professor level)
Experience:
-
Senior Lecturer: Minimum 57 years of teaching experience in higher education
-
Assistant Professor: Minimum 35 years of post-PhD teaching and research experience
-
Associate Professor: Minimum 810 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership
-
Demonstrated excellence in curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment practices
-
Experience in delivering foundation or pre-university level courses (preferred)
-
Prior supervision of student research or academic advising (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, student-centered lectures and tutorials in Science and Mathematics
-
Develop and review course materials and assessments in line with program outcomes
-
Conduct scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
-
Supervise undergraduate projects or provide academic mentorship
-
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and university committees
-
Support students through academic advising and learning support
-
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent academic quality and integrity
-
Contribute to community outreach, institutional development, and knowledge transfer initiatives
-
Stay current with advancements in Science and Math education
