About the Role

A well-established small accounting firm based in Tokai, Southern Suburbs, Cape Town, is looking for a Financial Statements Drafting Accountant OR Bookkeeper to join their team. This firm focuses on Financial Statement Drafting, Compilations, and Reviews no audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing Financial Statements, Compilations, and Reviews for a diverse client base (700 SME & individual profiles).
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Assisting in financial analysis and providing insights where needed.
  • Collaborating closely with a small, professional team to meet client deadlines.

Requirements

  • SAIPA background (NOT SAICA).
  • Completed SAIPA articles OR recently registered as a PA(SA).
  • Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and compilations.
  • Experience working in a small accounting or consulting firm (big firm experience wont be a fit).
  • Must be located near the Southern Suburbs (candidates from the Northern Suburbs will not be considered).
  • Ability to work independently in a small, fast-paced team.
