About the Role
The Opportunity
A fun, vibrant, and purpose-driven business is on the lookout for a Head of Finance to own and lead the finance function end to end. This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the executive team, providing commercial insight while ensuring strong financial discipline. You’ll be trusted to manage the day-to-day full finance function while also thinking strategically about where the business is heading.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial strategy and support business growth initiatives
- Drive cost control, margin improvement, and financial analysis
- Manage capital, assets, and cash flow
- Ensure audit readiness, compliance, and strong financial governance
- Oversee day-to-day full finance function (FFF) operations
- Identify and manage financial and operational risks
- Partner with leadership on strategic decision-making and planning
- Revenue and growth forecasting
Requirements
- BCom in Accounting or Finance + CA(SA) qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in an accounting environment
- 2+ years’ experience in a Financial Manager or senior finance role
- A hands-on, commercially minded leadership style
- The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, energetic environment
