Hire Resolves client in the construction industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Health & Safety Officer in Wellington.

Responsibilities:

• Compile Safety Plans / Files
• Conduct Internal Auditing
• Provide Site training (Induction, Toolbox talks, Risk Assessments, etc.)
• Ensure Construction Sites operate within the confines of the H&S Act and Construction Regulations
• Liaise with Client Agents

Requirements:

• 3 – 5 years experience in Health & Safety in the Construction Industry
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail oriented
• Sound knowledge of the Occupational H&S Act / Construction Regulations
• Stay updated with the latest changes in terms of H&S as promulgated from time to time
• Matric/Grade 12
• SACPCMP Registration
• Incident Investigator certification
• Risk Assessor certification
• Fall Protection certification
• Legal Liability certification
