About the Role
Farm Manager SA is seeking an experienced and skilled HR Manager to join their team in Western Cape. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, ensuring that our organization maintains a positive and productive work environment. You will work closely with our Farm Business Manager to implement effective strategies for staff wellbeing, recruitment, skills development, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage staff contracts and attendance registers
- Enforce Company Disciplinary Code
- Liaise with Unions
- Represent the company at the CCMA
- Compile job profiles and manage biometric system
- Facilitate disciplinary hearings and capture data on Sage Payroll Professional
- Compile monthly wages
- Assist and support Farm Business Manager
- Manage Provident Fund
Requirements
- National Diploma/ Degree in HR
- Previous agricultural related experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in operational environment, preferably agriculture
- Computer literacy in MS Office (excel, outlook, word)
- Strong management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with and motivate a team
- Valid Driver’s license
Qualifications
- National Diploma/ Degree in HR
- Previous Agricultural related experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in operational environment, preferably agriculture
- Computer literacy in MS Office (excel, outlook, word)
- Strong management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with and motivate a team
