About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Practitioner to join our team in Western Cape. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and performance management. Your expertise in working within a unionised environment and supporting a large blue-collar workforce will be essential in ensuring fair, effective, and compliant HR practices across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and performance management
- Provide expert advice on HR matters, including employment law and industrial relations
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the business
- Foster positive relationships with employees, unions, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Relevant HR degree
- Strong IR skills
- Solid knowledge of disciplinary processes and employee relations within a manufacturing environment
- Problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills
Qualifications
- Formal education in Human Resources or related field (e.g. Bachelor’s degree)
