About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Manager to lead our listed credit team, responsible for designing and implementing quantitative investment strategies that drive growth and returns. The successful candidate will be an expert in portfolio construction, risk management, and market analysis, with a strong track record of leadership and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of quantitative investment strategies for listed credit
  • Oversee portfolio construction, optimisation, and risk management
  • Develop and refine quantitative models, factor frameworks, and statistical tools
  • Analyse market, issuer, and structural risks across listed credit instruments
  • Collaborate with analysts, traders, and risk teams to embed quantitative insights into investment decisions
  • Contribute to thought leadership, investment committee discussions, and research outputs
  • Lead the development and long-term growth of the listed credit capability
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Support client engagement, presentations, and reporting as needed

Requirements

  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or related quantitative discipline
  • Experience in asset management with exposure to:
  • Listed credit
  • Fixed income
  • Credit risk
  • Quantitative investment strategies
  • Strong quantitative and statistical modelling capability
  • Coding skills (Python, R, MATLAB, SQL) advantageous
  • Strong understanding of portfolio theory, risk modelling, credit instruments, and market dynamics
