About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office and Stock Administrator to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape. As the first point of contact for incoming calls and enquiries, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our office, including stock control, administration, and communication with suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Management team
  • Answering incoming calls and assisting with enquiries over the phone
  • Managing consumables and materials stock levels
  • Tracking all incoming and outgoing stock, including offcuts
  • Conducting regular stock takes of consumables
  • Tracking and managing contract-specific consumables
  • Ordering contract-specific and standard consumables
  • Obtaining quotes for normal consumables
  • Following up with suppliers regarding material deliveries
  • Preparing and managing dispatch notes with the treasurer for company vehicles
  • General office administration, including answering phones and managing stationery
  • Maintaining filing systems (physical and electronic)
  • Managing delivery documentation and contract sign-offs
  • Ensuring the office is well organised and adequately stocked
  • Coordinating vehicle licence renewals, repairs, and maintenance

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Proven experience in office administration and/or stock control
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
