Job Description
Western Cape – South Africa
- Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within the retail sector.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, and client referrals.
- Present company products/services to prospective clients in a compelling and professional manner.
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Manage and grow client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay updated with market trends and competitor activity within the retail space.
- Report on sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts to management.
- Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license (travel is essential across the Western Cape).
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the retail sector.
- Experience selling products or services into retail chains or independent retail outlets.
- Knowledge of the Western Cape retail landscape and established business networks.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to close sales and meet/exceed targets.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Solid presentation and negotiation skills.
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
