We’re looking for a Senior Solar Engineer to join a leading team in the renewable energy industry, based in Cape Town. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of large-scale solar projects. This role offers the chance to work on innovative, sustainable energy solutions in a dynamic and fast-growing market.
Education:
– BSc or BEng in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
– Solar certifications are an advantage.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
– Minimum of 5 years` experience in solar project design and engineering.
– Expertise in PV systems, energy storage, and grid integration.
– Strong understanding of solar technologies, energy yield simulations, and financial modeling.
– Experience with project management, from concept to commissioning.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
