About the Role
Network Finance, a well-established property owner and operator with a diversified portfolio across commercial, retail, and residential assets, seeks an experienced Senior Utilities Analyst to join its team. As a key member of the operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate utility consumption tracking, billing validation, and cost recovery across the property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse utility consumption, costs, and billing to ensure accurate allocation and recovery across tenants.
- Validate municipal and tenant invoices in line with approved billing methodologies and recovery ratios.
- Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track utility performance and identify anomalies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing cost management for utilities across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with tenants, municipalities, service providers, and internal teams to resolve utility-related queries.
- Identify and implement process improvements, technology solutions, and energy efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in utilities management within the energy services or property management sector
- Experience working in multi-tenanted property environments
- Exposure to portfolio-level utility reporting and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12
- BCom Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
