Job Description
- Grade 12 and trade-tested.
- Proven experience as a press operator or in a similar role.
- Technical knowledge of hydraulic, eccentric, punch, and arch presses.
- Ability to perform machine setup, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Skilled in using measuring instruments, gauges, and basic hand tools.
- Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in noisy/hot/cold environments.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused.
- Able to follow blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- English and Afrikaans proficiency.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts and overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate punch press machines using progressive dies.
- Inspect stamped components for dimensional and cosmetic quality using hand tools and automated equipment.
- Monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and perform routine maintenance.
- Work with quality and engineering teams to meet production standards.
- Maintain production records and complete required documentation.
- Ensure safety, housekeeping, and compliance with ISO quality standards.
- Coordinate with colleagues to meet production deadlines.

- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume mechanical production environment.
