About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled Senior Resource Geologist to join our team at our Gauteng mine. As a leader in the mining industry, we require an expert with exceptional geological knowledge and experience to drive our resource estimation, geological modelling, and statutory reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee mineral resource estimation, geological modelling, and statutory reporting, ensuring full compliance with SAMREC, ISO 17025, SOX, and related industry standards.
Drive safety leadership and quality culture through effective safety campaigns, QA/QC systems, risk management, and continuous improvement of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.
Manage, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering strong inter- and intra-team collaboration, clear communication, and high performance in a dynamic, ambiguous environment.
Apply advanced diagnostic, geostatistical, and problem-solving techniques to exploration and mine geology data to optimise resource outcomes and support business decision-making.
Design, implement, and govern robust business processes, project controls, and data systems (including basic SQL and database management), leveraging technology to meet organisational and stakeholder requirements.

Requirements

Grade 12
Sc. Honours in Geology or postgraduate qualification in the Mineral Resource Management
Registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions
5 years geological modelling and mineral resource estimation experience
