About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager and Guide couple to join our team at a stunning 5-star Beach Lodge on the Wild Coast. As part of our intimate team, you will be responsible for overseeing various departments and providing exceptional guest relations. If you have a passion for luxury lodges, outdoor adventures, and hands-on management, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage lodge operations, including overseeing kitchen and housekeeping departments
- Develop and implement marketing strategies through social media and office administration
- Host guests and provide exceptional customer service in the front of house
- Lead guided tours and activities on the beach
- Perform daily maintenance tasks and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
Requirements
- 5 years+ experience in luxury lodge management or guiding
- Excellent computer skills, including social media and marketing
- Strong office administration skills
- Exceptional guest relations skills with hands-on hosting experience
- All-rounder in lodge operations, with experience overseeing various departments
- Qualified Game Ranger/Field Guide with FGASA Level 1 certification
Qualifications
- Valid Skippers License with beach launch experience
- RSA Driver’s License with a public drivers permit (PDP)
Salary & Benefits
R30 000 – R35 000 per month for the couple, plus live-in accommodation.
