About the Role
A luxurious 5-star beach lodge on the Wild Coast is seeking an experienced management couple to join their intimate team. As an Assistant Manager and Guide, you will be responsible for overseeing various departments, providing exceptional guest relations, and leading the lodge’s operations. With a strong background in luxury lodges and hands-on management experience, we invite you to become an integral part of our wonderful team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen and housekeeping departments
- Develop and implement marketing strategies using social media and office administration skills
- Oversee guest relations, hosting, and FOH operations
- Lead lodge operations, including guest check-in/check-out, room service, and other front-of-house duties
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in luxury lodges with a background in hands-on management
- Excellent computer skills, including social media and marketing proficiency
- Strong office administration skills, including organizational and time management abilities
- Exceptional guest relations skills, with the ability to think on your feet and handle challenging situations
Qualifications
- FGASA Level 1 qualification (or equivalent)
- Valid Skippers License with beach launch experience
- RSA Driver’s License with a public drivers permit (PDP)
Salary & Benefits
R30 000 – R35 000 per annum, payable in two installments. Live-in accommodation is available for the successful candidate.
