About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lodge Manager to join our intimate 5* Safari Camp in Zululand. As the key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of front-of-house hospitality management and operations, as well as managing our F&B department. You will also be responsible for conducting month-end stock takes, implementing continuous stock control, and ensuring seamless guest experiences across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage front-of-house hospitality operations
- Oversee food and beverage services (FOH & Kitchen)
- Conduct month-end stock takes and implement continuous stock control
- Coordinate with HODs on booking information
- Manage maintenance staff and tasks
- Implement HR policies and procedures
- Ensure effective communication across all departments
Requirements
- Grade 12 Hospitality or Game Lodge Management qualification
- At least 3-5 years of previous work experience in management roles in related lodge environments
- Proven management experience in luxury lodge environments
- Strong understanding of budget control and financial management planning
- Hands-on staff management and disciplinary process expertise
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12 or relevant qualification
