Responsibilities:

Assess staff competence according to company standards Plan, prepare, implement and manage the education and training requirements Support and facilitate staff and students to reach specific learning objectives Incorporate standard technology aid/ tools to enhance the learning experience and to up skill learners in the use of medical equipment Assist with the review of all Nursing documentation as and when requested Implement and maintain the standard patient documentation Seek to create opportunities for identifying and leveraging high potential learners by setting challenging learning channels Take corrective measures to improve skills

Requirements:

Grade 12 Professional Nursing Qualification (Registered with SANC) Knowledge of scope of practice of all Nursing categories as well as the regulations of the SANC Nursing Education and/ or Assessorship qualification as recommendation Previous experience as an educator/ facilitator/ mentor would be advantageous Excellent communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and problem-solving skills Commitment to initiate and implement continuous improvement projects An established interest in staff development A critical aptitude with regard to patient quality care Excellent MS Office computer skills, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Kronos, etc. Own transport- Ocassional night duty
