About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel in Groblersbrug. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all departments function smoothly and efficiently to provide an exceptional guest experience, while promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hotel
  • Ensure all departments function smoothly and efficiently to provide an exceptional guest experience
  • Manage staff across front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, spa, and maintenance departments
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and excellence
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
  • Monitor performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop budgets and forecast expenses
  • Drive profitability through effective cost control measures
  • Address guest concerns promptly and effectively while maintaining high service standards

Requirements

  • 5–7 years’ experience in hotel operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of hospitality management principles
  • Ability to manage multiple hotel departments effectively
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and engaging work environment

Qualifications

No formal education or certifications required.

Salary & Benefits

R28 000 – R32 000 per annum (live-in position)
