My client, a leading and well known FMCG Companyrequures a competent and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join their team in Cape Town. PURPOSE : Understands the role of IT systems in an organization and determines the best technologies to increase an organizations efficiency and effectiveness. Optimize business processes through the use of workflow and automation technologies. Oversees the installation and configuration of systems to customize them to fit the organizations needs. Tests systems and train organization on how to use systems. Develops and documents business objectives, data requirements, processing documentation and specifications. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Relevant Bachelors degree or similar qualification with relevant certifications Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Office 365 / SharePoint Online / Azure experience SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED : Good verbal and communication skills, including active listening skills Well organised with understanding of business processes and systems Ability to work independently and in a team Strong analytical skills Strong computer literacy in relevant applications Solid understanding of planning / project principles, tools and techniques Good understanding of Database design and structures Experience in Workflow and automation Experience in SQL scripting Solid experience in BI and Reporting Tools Experience Business Central Attention to detail; Self-motivated; Pressure-resilient Team player; People and task orientated Multi-task focused; Out-of-the-box thinking SA Citizens only Must be Criminal Clear Must reside in the Greater Cape Town area or be willing to relocate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that the requirements set by the business are captured and documented correctly before any solutions are developed. Support MS Dynamics NAV and Business Central, facilitating enhancements or implementations where necessary. Solving Business requirements through the use of current or new best of breed applications, compiling business cases for 3rd parties to meet this need where applicable. Maintenance and growth of all internal business systems. Build effective relationships with clients (mostly internal) to develop joint vision for projects Manage Client expectations through careful and proactive communications regarding requirements and changes. Use negotiation skills to build final consensus on a common set of requirements from all stakeholders. Ensure that Stakeholders understand implications of their decisions, and provide options and alternatives when necessary. Main Activities: Determine operational objectives by analysing business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. Design new computer systems by analysing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications. Develop an understanding of how present and future business needs will impact solutions. Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications. Support all departments on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central. Implement Microsoft Business Central at companies running legacy ERP systems. Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures. Apply automation where applicable. Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users on relevant systems. Maintain user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
