Job Summary
Are you an ambitious and skilled chef ready to take the next step in your culinary career? Our renowned luxury lodge is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, guiding junior staff and ensuring smooth service.
- Support menu development and bring creative ideas to seasonal dishes.
- Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and stock control standards.
- Help train and motivate the team to deliver consistent, world-class dishes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef, preferably in a fine dining or luxury lodge/hotel environment.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for excellence and innovation.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player with leadership potential and strong communication skills.
