Job Summary

Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience specifically in construction recruitment: This could be within a construction company or a recruitment agency strictly specializing in construction. Experience in sourcing and attracting talent: Proven ability to find and engage with qualified candidates for various construction roles. Track record of successful placements: Demonstrated ability to fill positions with suitable candidates. Understanding of the construction industry: Knowledge of different construction roles, project types (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial), and relevant terminology. Familiarity with construction projects: Understanding of project lifecycles, different phases, and key milestones. Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Artichecture, Engineering or related field is an added advantage. A diploma/degree in an HR related field can be advantageous. Operational Requirements A deep understanding of various construction disciplines, project types (e.g. commercial, residential, infrastructure), and the overall industry landscape is essentia Proven ability to source, attract, screen, interview, and place qualified candidates for construction roles. This includes utilizing various recruitment methods (e.g., online job boards, networking, headhunting). Understanding of project management principles, timelines, budgets, and the ability to assess candidates’ project management experience. Building and maintaining a strong network of contacts within the construction industry is vital for sourcing candidates and generating leads. Conducting interviews, assessing candidates’ skills and experience, and evaluating their suitability for specific roles Building and maintaining strong relationships with construction companies, understanding their hiring needs, and providing recruitment solutions. Ensuring all recruitment activities for the group comply with relevant employment laws and regulations. 2 Manageent the contractual onboarding process of employees and integration into the organisation. Using automated systems and process to fast track and streamline the recruitment and onboarding process. Regular reporting on the full scope of recruitment to Group Executives. Behavioral Attributes: Senior construction Recruiter need to develop and execute project strategies, manage resources, and ensure recruitment processes stay on time and within budget. Must exhibit exceptional leadership qualities, profound knowledge of the construction processes and the ability to handle high-pressure situations and multiple priorities Analyzing situations, identifying potential issues, and developing effective solutions are vital for navigating the challenges of construction project Demonstrates flexibility and strong multi-tasking. Comfortable and effective when working across all levels of an organisation
