Reporting directly to the IT Systems & Project Manager, your primary charge will be to implement new enterprise systems and applications, alongside providing robust support, meticulous maintenance, and critical integration for the organization’s core business applications. This role ensures that all non-SYSPRO business software and tools function optimally, fulfill operational demands, and establish fluid communication, integrating effortlessly with SYSPRO where necessary. This position demands exceptional problem-solving acumen, advanced technical integration capabilities, and a profound comprehension of how technology systems underpin vital business processes.

Your Impactful Responsibilities:

• Application Support:
  • Deliver consistent, daily operational assistance for a range of essential business applications, specifically excluding SYSPRO, but including platforms such as POS, WMS, HR, QC/QA, Import, Compliance, and specialized custom systems.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for users encountering system difficulties, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to workflows.
  • Conduct thorough root-cause analysis and implement corrective measures for recurring application issues.
  • Coordinate directly with external vendors and third-party service providers for advanced support and system updates.
  • Collaborate closely with the SYSPRO support team to guarantee harmonious integration with SYSPRO when appropriate, extending this cooperation to SharePoint and Office365 applications.

• System Integration:
  • Engineer and sustain interconnections between the organization’s proprietary business systems and external vendor platforms, leveraging APIs, middleware, and various other specialized integration instruments, working hand-in-hand with the software development team.
  • Guarantee data uniformity and real-time synchronization across diverse systems and platforms.
  • Design and deploy automated processes for workflows and information exchange between different applications.

• Business Analysis & Process Improvement:
  • Engage with various business divisions to gather system requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Analyze and optimize existing business workflows by enhancing system functionalities and integration points.
  • Pinpoint opportunities for automating processes and boosting operational efficiency.

• Change Management & Projects:
  • Participate actively in the strategic planning, rigorous testing, and seamless deployment of novel applications, features, upgrades, and system integrations.
  • Facilitate data migration, perform essential system configuration, and oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new or enhanced applications.
  • Methodically document all system modifications, configurations, and user guidance materials.

• Monitoring & Compliance:
  • Ensure the precision of data, reliability of systems, and adherence to internal policies and procedural standards.
  • Implement robust controls and verification steps to preserve data integrity across all business systems.

Who We Are Looking For:

• A foundational academic qualification at bachelor’s degree or diploma level in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business IT, or a closely allied discipline is required.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in supporting and integrating enterprise business applications.
• Demonstrated experience within manufacturing, distribution, and finance environments.
• Familiarity with business process management and automation tools.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in cloud-based SaaS applications and platforms (e.g., Office 365, Azure).

Essential Technical Skills:

• A solid grasp of key business systems, including SYSPRO (specifically its Database and Business Objects), RiteScan, InTouch, Siemens PLM, and other crucial business system(s).
• Practical experience with system integration tools such as SQL Database, SQL Scripting, T-SQL, SYSPRO Business Objects, and Azure Cloud Services.
• Proficiency with databases and reporting tools like SQL, Power BI, Crystal Reports, and QlikSense.
• Working knowledge of APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and various scripting languages.
