You will be responsible for </span><strong><span style="color:black;">generating and growing sales</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> whilst </span><strong><span style="color:black;">maintaining required profit margins</span></strong><span style="color:black;">, maintaining great </span><strong><span style="color:black;">agent relationships</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> and giving </span><strong><span style="color:black;">high-level customer service</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> by offering world-class </span><strong><span style="color:black;">itineraries</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> to exceed agent & guests' expectations.</span></p><p><strong><u><span style="color:black;">Duties:</span></u></strong></p><p><span style="color:black;">Secure, cost and present product to the agent / guest accurately, efficiently and timeously by creating inspirational </span><strong><span style="color:black;">luxury travel itineraries</span></strong></p><p><span style="color:black;">Build relationships with agents based on trust and support, knowing their business trends and guests needs</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Attending relevant familiarization trips with agents</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Liaise with the </span><strong><span style="color:black;">Reservations Manager</span></strong><span style="color:black;"> on sales potential and any development on the agent relationship for all bookings.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Continuous communication and excellent service delivery to agents</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Keep Agents booking information updated in the ARM</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Send out quotes: accurately and timeously keeping in mind strategic and preferred AP and upsell where possible to benefit both the company and the agent</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Ensuring relevant information is obtained from the ARM prior to quoting.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Streamline operational negotiations by reducing dead beds, waitlist chasing and maximizing camp operations</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Create those life-changing journeys for guests.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Keep apprised of company policies, procedures and system updates.</span><strong><span style="color:black;"><br><br></span><u><span style="color:black;">Requirements:</span></u></strong></p><p><span style="color:black;">Matric certificate with maths (minimum standard grade or above)</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality. </span></p><p><span style="color:black;">At least 4-5 years experience in INBOUND Travel at a Senior level with excellent knowledge of Southern & East Africa (Rwanda, Tanzania & Kenya).</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Experience in handling customer relationships and developing & promoting product and services in the inbound travel industry.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Personal or educational travel experience required.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Proven English literacy.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Computer Literate (Microsoft Office, email, Internet)</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Excellent attention to detail.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Excellent communication skills both written and oral, in English.</span></p><p><span style="color:black;">Foreign European language skills advantageous.</span></p>
