The successful candidate will be responsible for <strong>handling guest check-ins and check-outs</strong>, processing <strong>night audits</strong>, ensuring <strong>security protocols</strong> and assisting with <strong>reception duties</strong> when required.</p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p>Conduct night audit procedures, reconciling daily transactions and ensuring accuracy in financial reports.</p><p>Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries in a warm and professional manner.</p><p>Ensure a smooth transition between evening and morning shifts, communicating important information to day staff.</p><p>Monitor hotel security and respond to any incidents or guest concerns during night shifts.</p><p>Process reservations, handle guest requests, and provide concierge services as needed.</p><p>Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.</p><p>Perform end-of-day financial balancing and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.</p><p>Provide relief support to the reception team during peak periods or staff absences.</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>Grade 12</p><p>Previous experience in a night audit or front desk role in a luxury hotel setting</p><p>Strong numerical and analytical skills with experience in handling cash and reconciling financial reports.</p><p>Proficiency in hotel management systems.</p><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p><p>Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.</p><p>High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.</p><p>Professional appearance and a guest-centric attitude.</p><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p>Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.</p>
