Springbok: Finance Manager

This is not your typical behind-the-desk finance role its an integrated operational role , working across cost centres, managing spend, partnering with department heads, and driving financial accountability throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities: Cost Centre Management & Cost Control: Monitor, analyse, and optimise cost drivers across various operational units. Financial Reporting: Oversee month-end, budgeting, and forecasting processes; and prepare insightful reports for senior leadership. Business Partnering: Work closely with operational leaders, Engineers, and production teams to influence decision-making. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small finance team; and foster collaboration and accountability. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships across departments with varying personalities and priorities. Requirements: Qualification: CA(SA) or qualified ACMA/CGMA (CIMA). Experience: 810 years experience in a finance role within a mining or manufacturing environment (essential). Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, forecasting , and operational finance. Excellent people and interpersonal skills Able to engage at all levels, from plant staff to executive leadership. Proven ability to influence operational outcomes through financial insight.
