As a Group Accountant, you will play a key role in group financial reporting, consolidations, and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. Duties:

• Preparation of group consolidations and reporting packs
• Drafting and review of Annual Financial Statements in line with IFRS
• Supporting the external audit process and liaising with auditors
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting requirements
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, JSE reporting requirements, and internal controls
• Providing technical accounting input on complex transactions

 
Education and experience:

• CA(SA) – newly qualified to 2 years post-articles experience
• Experience in group reporting and consolidations essential
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards
• Exposure to a listed environment highly advantageous
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
