Durban: Diesel Engine/ Generator Technician

We are looking for a Diesel engine/ generator technician. Does not have to be qualified in any field, Experience in both fields a must Job Description Diesel Engines: Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing problems with diesel engines and other components. Repairing and Replacing: Repairing or replacing worn or broken parts, including engines and other machine systems. Maintenance and Preventative Care: Routine Maintenance, Performing tasks like oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, and filter replacements. Preventive Maintenance implementing scheduled maintenance procedures to prevent future problems and extend the lifespan of machines. Job Description Generators: Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems, replacing faulty parts, and restoring generators to full functionality. Testing: Performing load bank tests, performance monitoring, and other tests to ensure generators meet specifications and are operating efficiently. Diesel/ Generator technicians may also be involved in tasks such as welding & fabrication.
