Job Description
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 2 year’s experience in a host/hostess or front-of-house role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Strong interpersonal and guest engagement skills
- Knowledge of reservation systems and table management
- Well-groomed, professional appearance with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Must hold a valid South African ID
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
- Manage reservations and walk-in seating efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth dining flow
- Handle guest enquiries, waitlists, and special requests
- Maintain the presentation of the reception and dining areas
- Assist with guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly
