Cape Town City Centre: Actuarial Analyst – Pricing

As an Actuarial Analyst , youll sit at the center of it all designing models, pricing complex portfolios, and generating insights that shape board-level strategy. This is the ideal role for someone analytical, commercially minded, and ambitious to see their work directly influence major investment outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Perform portfolio valuations and pricing analysis for non-performing debt portfolios. Develop and enhance financial models using DCF, machine learning, Markov-chain models, and runoff triangles. Conduct sensitivity analyses and build proxy portfolios to assess risk and return dynamics. Design valuation scorecards and lead the automation of pricing workflows. Analyse large datasets to identify KPIs that guide investment strategy. Partner with investment executives to deliver actionable pricing recommendations. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline Experience: 3 years experience in financial modelling, valuations, or credit risk analytics Strong foundation in valuation methodologies, credit risk, and data analytics Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R and advanced Excel Confident working independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment Apply now!
